Valet Product Warranty Registration
Valet undertakes to provide warranty on the following Products
ALL MODELS
1. 90 days on site parts and labour warranty. If any part proves to be defective in workmanship or material within a period of 90 days from purchase, Valet will repair or replace the part free of charge provided the system was installed by an authorised Valetdealer. If the system was not installed by a Valet dealer, labour and travel costs will be paid by the purchaser.
2. 12 months warranty on all vacuum attachments. Valet will repair or replace the hose or cleaning tools if they prove to be defective for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. Return freight to your nearest Valet dealer to be paid by purchaser.
VALUE VAC, VBS & VBC MODELS
3. 3 year warranty on motor. Valet will repair or replace a motor which proves defective within a period of 3 years from date of purchase. Return freight to your nearest Valet dealer to be paid by purchaser.
ALL MODELS (Except VALUE VAC, VBS & VBC MODELS)
4. 6 years warranty on all other Valet Vacuum Systems. Following the initial 90 day full on site parts and labour cover, Valet provide free parts and labour service for a period up to 6 years from date of purchase provided the unit is returned freight prepaid to your- nearest Valet Dealer or you may request a service call out for which your local dealer will provide a quotation of cost to visit. Please ensure you keep your proof of purchase receipt.
You may extend your warranty cover beyond 6 years by requesting your local dealer perform an inspection of your system close to your warranty expiry date. Please discuss with your local dealer your specific needs.
ALARM SYSTEMS: All models
5. 12 months warranty on all electronic components. Valet will repair or replace any components which prove defective within a period of 12 months from date of purchase. Return freight to your nearest Valet dealer to be paid by purchaser.

INTERCOM/SYSTEM ONE/MINICOM/SMART CENTRE CR BUS
6. 2 year warranty. Valet will repair or replace any components which prove defective within a period of 24 months from date of purchase. Return freight to your nearest Valet dealer to be paid by purchaser.
VIDEO INTERCOM
7. 12 months warranty. Valet will repair or replace any components which prove defective within a period of 12 months from date of purchase. Return freight to your nearest Valet dealer to be paid by purchaser.
CONDITIONS
a. These warranty provisions exclude malfunction caused by misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, corrosion or commercial use or alteration by any person other than an authorised Valet dealer. It is important that vacuum systems which specifically require filter bags must have the bag correctly fitted. Systems must not be used to vacuum liquids, bricks, concrete, plaster, or similar dust.
b. Consumable items such as dust bags, filters or carbon brushes are not covered by this warranty.
c. Interference caused by external fields such as dimmers, electrical appliances, unstable voltage, radio/CB transmitters, electrical transmission cables and the like is excluded from this guarantee.
d. Performance of any Valet Intercom System cannot be guaranteed unless used with approved Valet cable.
e. Consumable items such as batteries are excluded from this warranty.
f. The purchaser, by completing and returning the guarantee details here, consents to Valet and related companies collecting their personal information and using the information to send the purchaser service reminders and promotional offers.
Nothing contained in this warranty is intended to restrict, modify, or exclude the operation of the provisions contained in Part V of theTrade Practices Act 1974 (amended) or any similar substantial amendment.
